Spot00011.pngExporting to Vision

MVR (My Virtual Rig) is the recommended format for export to Vision. Vectorworks files can also be exported in .esc format using the Send to Vision and Export ESC commands. A textures folder is created with the .esc file and must stay with it.

Vectorworks includes the focus orientation, shutter, and gobo information for the lighting devices in the scene. Left, Right, Top, and Bottom shutter depth and angle are mapped to the appropriate shutter parameter in Vision to match the settings in Vectorworks. When a gobo is exported from a lighting device, a .jpg representation of the Vectorworks gobo texture is created for use by Vision and placed with the exported Vision file. The . jpg file is named the same as the Vectorworks gobo texture for easy identification. The .jpg file is named the same as the Vectorworks gobo texture for easy identification.
